What is your specialty?

I specialize in family documentary and lifestyle photography. What does this mean? I love the action shots and natural smiles, laughing and "in between" moments. My goal is to document what is real and genuine. I encourage all prospective clients to review my work and decide whether or not we are a good fit to work together.

What Is your editing and shooting style?

Raw, emotive, and unposed.

I prize myself on telling each families unique story so no two sessions will be identical. In regards to editing, I prefer images that are edited true to color with natural skin tones. While I do hand edit each image, I rarely do extensive overlays, photoshopping of facial features/bodies, etc.

I want you to recognize yourself in the images because you are perfect just the way you are.

What is your "why?"

Like many photographers, my biggest source of inspiration is my own children. Documenting their everyday adventures and providing that to other families, brings me immense joy.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I am currently based in the greater Colorado Springs area. However, I am always open to travel anywhere in the state of Colorado. Anywhere 90 minutes past area code 80920 will incur a travel fee.

When will we get our photos?

Your will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within a maximum of 3 weeks (usually this is two weeks but as a mom of 3, I like to give myself some leeway!)

How many pictures will we receive?

Depends on the package but most packages include 30 professionally edited, high resolution digitals. You will receive a gallery, pick your thirty, and then I will send an additional link with those downloads. You will also receive a print release.

Do you offer a military discount?

Yes, for all active duty military clients you will receive 15 percent off the total package and an extra digital as my thank you for you and your families service.

Military service-members and their families go through unique struggles and challenges, they deserve our wholehearted thanks and respect.

Do you have a client closet?

Yes, I do offer a limited client closet. Right now I offer dresses from S - XL as well as a variety of children's boutique clothes from 3 months to 7 years.

After the session is booked then we will schedule a time to discuss styling options.

ARE YOU INCLUSIVE of all types of people?

EVERYONE is welcome. I am a firm believer that we are all beautiful and all have stories that deserve to be told. I strive to be an ally to all LGBQT and BIPOC though I do acknowledge that I am still learning how to do that most effectively.

What is your Covid and sickness policy?

I respectfully ask all of my clients to keep me informed if they or their children become sick. I will gladly reschedule sessions that are cancelled due to illness and I respectfully ask clients to offer me the same courtesy. As a mother, I totally understand the need to avoid exposing our children to unnecessary sickness.

I am fully vaccinated with a booster, but am happy to wear a mask if it makes you more comfortable in your session.

Do you have a welcome guide?

Yes, after you book and pay the deposit towards your session then you will receive both an in depth questionnaire and a welcome guide.
